General List of Responsibilities
P/T Bar Manager
Once training is complete -Responsibilities include:
-Monitoring & maintaining inventory, placing orders, meeting deliveries
-Weekly supply runs
-Saturday bartender plus one shift
-Creating, coordinating & maintaining employee schedules
-Filling in bartending/serving shifts as needed
-Maintaining a warm, friendly environment for employees, musicians, and patrons
-Helping with the hiring process
-Training new employees
-Various additional managerial responsibilities

This is a non-corporate, small, 2nd generation, family-owned business.
We strive to have a work environment that stresses efficiency, precision, and excellent customer service, while also treating one-another with respect and kindness, even when busy. We've found that if the staff feel as if they are being treated as humans, they extend that same courtesy to our customers. At Schwartz's Point, we greet our customers as if they are all regulars -creating one of the most genuinely welcoming spots in town. :)
After countless years in the service industry, we have endeavored to create a culture that is free from some of the more negative aspects of the service industry - quick tempers, greediness, toxic competitiveness, etc., while also maintaining expectations of excellent work ethic, integrity, and prompt, courteous interaction with patrons, co-workers, & musicians.
